The countdown has begun! With just two weeks to go until award winning musical Avenue Q hits The Theatre Royal Windsor, the venue is preparing to host the most unholy comic allegiance between humans and puppets the world has ever seen!

Following massive success in the West End of London where the show enjoyed nearly five years of mischief, bad behaviour and political incorrectness, the uproariously entertaining Avenue Q comes to the Theatre Royal Windsor from Tuesday 29 October to Saturday 2 November, and tickets are selling fast.

Winner of a host of Awards, including a prestigious New York Tony Award for Best New Musical, Avenue Q is the perfect, contemporary musical.

Irresistibly charming, witty, rude and hilariously funny, with songs performed by a cast of hugely talented performers and puppets, Avenue Q really is a musical like no other.

Meet the lively and off-the-wall characters on a downtown New York street trying to make sense of life's burning issues: love, work, relationships, and, above all, just how are you supposed to pay the bills with a BA in English?

Avenue Q follows 'Princeton', a bright-eyed college graduate new to the area, as he desperately tries to follow his dreams and discover his ever-elusive purpose in life. A tiny bank balance, the distraction of a busty blonde, and a variety of weird and wonderful friends and neighbours lead Princeton on a story of self-discovery.

The Windsor cast include Gary Jordan (Cbeebies Zingzillas, Coronation Street The Musical), West End regular Amanda Posener (Original London casts Avenue Q, Bad Girls The Musical & Rent) and Ashley Oliver (Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast - UK Tour). Directed by Eddie Dredge (UK tour of Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Starlight Express German Tour), Magic Mirror Productions are bringing the West End directly to the door step of Windsor.

Ahead of the Windsor production, the cast have worked with original London cast member Mark Goldthorp who has used his extensive experience to advise the shows puppeteers. Mark is currently appearing in Matilda The Musical in the West End.

Avenue Q runs for a week at Theatre Royal Windsor 29th October - 2nd November. Performances at 8pm daily with matinees on Thursday at 230pm and Saturday at 445pm
