"Novaya Rossiya" State Symphony Orchestra was founded officially on September 30, 1990. The name was changed again in October 2002 under the Federal State Institute of Culture State Symphony Orchestra Novoya Rossiya. Yury Bashmet, art director and Chief conductor was commissioned as. and has been approved by the Russia Federation, the Orchestra in March 2007. in January 2010 the Orchestra was awarded by the President of Russia Federation.
