The Second City's Valentine's-Themed Sketch Show Has Been Extended By Popular Demand

Presented by the Second City National Touring Company, Hooking Up: Second Base is a freshly-assembled live sketch show combining all-new satirical takes on love and romance, some classic Second City material on the subject, plus live music and that world-famous brand of Second City improv. And it's an entirely new cast to boot, featuring some of the country's most skilled young comedy performers.

Hooking Up: Second Base pulls together everything from tales of Tinder troubles to long-lost lovers to that sickening bliss that comes with new relationships. Rolled up into 90 minutes of fresh new comedy, this fast-paced performance provides the right amount of heat for our bone-chilling Toronto February, whether you love Valentine's Day or want it obliterated from history.

"This show definitely isn't just for couples and those in love," explains Hooking Up: Second Base director (and Second City Mainstage alum) Karen Parker. "If you're single, happy, lonely, bitter, confused, content, or casual, it'll be right in your wheelhouse."
