Sex, Religion & Other Hang-ups was a hit at last year's Toronto Fringe Festival, picking up the 2011 Patron's Pick Award and the Ed Mirvish Award for Entrepreneurship for highest percentage of tickets sold. Since so many people missed out the first time, and since the creator and subject of the show, James Gangl is still single, Sex, Religion & Other Hang-ups is back in Toronto until October 22nd at Theatre Passe Muraille.

Sex, Religion & Other Hang-ups is a one-man show about a guy looking for love (or as he put it during the performance, a f*ckable best friend). James engages the audience for a rip-roaring 75 minutes as he recounts tales of his first time sexual encounters and how his strict Catholic upbringing was something that he battled with throughout adolescence and early adulthood.

After seeing the show, it's hard to imagine that Gangl hasn't yet landed the girl of his dreams. He's sincere, funny and completely endearing, and on the night I attended certainly had the women (and the men) in the audience eating out of the palm of his hand. That said, James is still looking for that elusive one, and BWW is thrilled to offer its readers an opportunity to win tickets to see the show and perhaps even find love! If nothing else, you are guaranteed an evening of laughter, genuine tenderness and a crash course in Catholicism.

In keeping with the rambunctious and adventurous spirit of the show, we want to hear your wild and outlandish dating stories! Sure, happily ever after is fine and dandy, but few things in life are funnier than a true dating disaster. And so, in order to win tickets simply email kelly@broadwayworld.com and tell us the craziest thing you've ever done to try and land a date (or a romantic partner). Entries must be kept under 500 words, and will be judged by James Gangl and BWW based on hilarity, sincerity and creativity. Winners will be announced by 6PM on Sunday, October 16th and will win two (2) tickets to the performance of their choice.
