Sam Simmons Presents NOT A PEOPLE PERSON
SAM SIMMONS - NOT A PEOPLE PERSON
2015 WINNER Fosters Award for Best Comedy, Edinburgh Fringe
2015 WINNER Barry Award for Best Show, Melbourne Comedy Festival
2014 WINNER Best Comedy Performance, Helpmann Awards
It's been a couple of years since Sam Simmons last performed in Sydney and A LOT has happened.
2015 saw him walk away with live comedy's two biggest awards: the Barry Award for Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the coveted Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2014, he also won Best Comedy Performance at the Helpmann Awards and then there are the countless 5-star reviews and praise from critics and punters alike.
During this time, Sam also relocated from LA to London, worked on multiple US and UK TV projects, including appearances on 8 out of 10 Cats and Room 101 and, most recently, was invited to perform in the latest of the BBC's comedy series, Live at the Apollo.
Now Sam is back on Australian soil, performing his hit show Not a People Person at the Sydney Opera House.
From the mind that brought you millionaire cats eating Viennetta and bread shoes, comes a new hour of comedy that blends self-hatred, paranoia and comedy, because you have to put comedy in it.
With all his festival seasons around the country selling out in 2016, tickets will go quick. You've been warned!
