Wicked tells the incredible untold story of the witches of Oz, long before Dorothy drops in. The blonde and very popular Glinda and the misunderstood green girl, Elphaba, meet at Shiz University. They form a uniquely profound friendship that leads them on a journey to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Their journey tests their friendship and they're faced with decisions that ultimately lead to them fulfilling their destinies as Glinda the Good and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West.
Awe-inspiring and spectacular, this gravity-defying production has been playing on Broadway since 2003 and recently completed a seven-year continuous run throughout Australasia.
Packemin's production will be the first pro-am production of Wicked in NSW since it's theatrical release in 2015.
Lead by a professional cast consisting of Wayne Scott Kermond (Singin' in the Rain, Anything Goes) as the as the comedic Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Ashleigh O'Brien as the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba, Mikayla Williams as Glinda The Good and Linden Furnell (Rent, Violet) as the handsome Fiyero.
