In 2017, Australian audiences will be treated to a good old highland fling when the international smash hit spectacular Scotland the Brave returns.

Commencing the tour in March, the sensational production will tour to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth throughout 2017, wowing audiences with the best of traditional Scottish music song and dance performed by over 100 singers, dancers and musicians, including pipers, drummers and fiddlers.

With its rousing anthems and exciting and inspiring performances, Scotland the Brave has captivated audiences throughout Australia and in New Zealand and North America, including New York's famous Lincoln Center.

The program features popular works such as Amazing Grace, Highland Cathedral, The Gael, Ye Banks and Braes, Auld Lang Syne and many others.

Conducted by Sean O'Boyle, the production features an acclaimed Australian cast including internationally renowned sopranos Cheryl Barker (Adelaide and Sydney) and Mirusia (Melbourne and Brisbane), popular tenor Gregory Moore, award winning pipe bands, drum corps, and highland dancers, thrilling Celtic fiddler Marcus Holden, and orchestras.

Andrew McKinnon, who has toured the show extensively for almost 20 years, said he is delighted by its popularity and the response from Australian and international audiences.

"I have seen multiple performances of this delightful show and its appeal has never waned," said Mr McKinnon. "Each time I am stirred by the magnificent selection of Scottish music, song and dance, with which the show abounds. It is a show I look forward to with immense anticipation, as a highlight of the many and varied presentations I have offered during my thirty years as a producer."
