Frontier Comedy are thrilled to announce that author, podcaster and comedian Rosie Waterland has added a second Sydney Comedy Festival show by popular demand - before the festival has even begun!
Rosie, accompanied by her mother Lisa, will bring her new show Mum Says My Memoir Is A Lie - The Live Event to Giant Dwarf for Sydney Comedy Festival on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May. They will also perform at Melbourne International Comedy Festival (Sat 21 Apr and Sun 22 Apr at Comic's Lounge) and Perth Comedy Festival (Sat 28 Apr at Heath Ledger Theatre). Tickets to all shows on sale now and selling fast! In 2015 Rosie wrote The Anti-Cool Girl, a book about her childhood with mentally ill, alcoholic, drug-addicted parents and foster homes, AA and overdoses. Adult Rosie then navigated her way through eating disorders, Bachelor recaps and awkward Tinder dates before having an epiphany to embrace her true self - a girl who loves drinking wine in her underpants - and become an Anti-Cool Girl. It seemed everyone in the country read her critically acclaimed bestseller... except Rosie's mother Lisa. Then, she unexpectedly got sober and finally read the book.MUM SAYS MY MEMOIR IS A LIE - THE LIVE EVENT TOUR
