Monkey Baa Theatre to Bring NELLA'S WINGS and CURIOUS JAC to Sydney, Jan 2014

Monkey Baa Theatre Company is giving children the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild and experience the magic of theatre and storytelling presenting two fun pieces Nella's Wings playing from 16 to 18 January and Curious Jac playing 23 to 25 January. Both shows will captivate and enthral the young and young at heart!

Nella's Wings is written and devised by Sue Wallace and is a beautiful and gentle exploration of a child's dream to fly. Your child is invited to join Nella in her dream as she imagines what it would be like to fly. But how can she do that without wings? All day she draws and imagines different wings and flying contraptions. Using puppets, shadow theatre, music and audience participation, Nella's Wings will enchant, delight and put a smile on the face of young audience members.

Curious Jac is performed by bilingual storyteller, Lilli Pang and is a magical adventure of the extremely curious Jac who travels the continents and discovers the answers to her questions through the magic of music and storytelling. Jac is full of questions. She is extremely curious and asks about everything around her, but answers only lead to more questions! She wants to know how mountains were made, what can the trees see, how do we smile, why is the moon so large when it rises, why does the turtle have cracks on its back.
