Little Triangle's SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, with book by James Lapine and music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, will run 6-16 September 2017 at The Depot Theatre in Marrickville as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival.

"The art of making art is putting it together"

Inspired by George Seurat's magnificent painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's soaring musical is itself an artistic masterpiece.

The piece is one of the most acclaimed musicals of our time, and earned the Pulitzer Prize in Drama for its deeply insightful and highly personal examination of life through art and the artist. Sunday in the Park with George is an experiment in form and aesthetic, dictated by questions concerning art, children, and one's legacy.
