Just For Laughs Australia Live Announces Lineup

AAMI JUST FOR LAUGHS SYDNEY has announced the line-up for the 6th season of JUST FOR LAUGHS AUSTRALIA: LIVE featuring a smorgasbord of top International and Australian comedians. Hosted by TOMMY LITTLE, JUST FOR LAUGH AUSTRALIA: LIVE will be filmed for Foxtel's Comedy Channel.

A highlight on the show this year is Canadian comedian CHANTY MAROSTICA, who is the winner of the ninth annual SiriusXM Top Comic Competition. Along with receiving the coveted Top Comic title, Marostica won the opportunity to perform at the Sydney Opera House this year for AAMI Just for Laughs Sydney. The prize also included $25k and invitations to perform at all of the other Just for Laughs festivals in 2019; Just for Laughs (Montreal), JFL42 (Toronto), and Just for Laughs NorthWest (Vancouver). Chanty was the first ever trans comedian chosen to be one of the prestigious "42" at JFL42 Toronto in 2018, performing their solo show to sold out crowds and garnering critical and fan acclaim.

Courtesy of the Canadian Consulate supporting Canadian artists in Australia, we are thrilled to have Vancouver comedian Ivan Decker join this amazing line up! It's been a stellar year for Ivan - he won the 2018 Juno Award (Canadian Music Awards) for Best Comedy Album, filmed his first Netflix special at the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival this past summer, and will be returning to the Vancouver stage for a special appearance on Gad Elmaleh's The Dream Tour.

JUST FOR LAUGHS AUSTRALIA: LIVE has become a favorite of the festival, giving audiences the opportunity of catching several top names in one night, over three nights.
