Ask yourself, are you brave enough...

Seen by over 450,000 people worldwide, the smash hit West End play, is now re-invented, re-designed and reborn for its Australian debut. Ghost Stories - a truly terrifying theatrical experience that is not for the faint hearted will play at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House from tonight 8 July to Saturday 15 August 2015, presented by Prince Moo Productions.

Written by the masters of the macabre, Jeremy Dyson (The League of Gentleman) and Andy Nyman (writer of the Derren Brown shows & as an actor best known as 'Howard' in Death at a Funeral); Ghost Stories mixes the very best of theatre with all the thrills of a great horror film, taking you on a chilling journey that you'll never forget.

The Director of Ghost Stories and a huge fan of the horror genre is British born creative director Peter J Snee. Both his interest and experience lie in high visual theatre and following the success of his production of Houdini (UK and Ireland tour) Peter also developed a keen interest in the art of illusion design. For Sydney Opera House season Peter has assembled an all-Australian cast including Tim Franklin, John Gregg Lynden Jones, Aleks Miki? and Ben Wood.

Ghost Stories was originally produced by the Liverpool Playhouse & Lyric Hammersmith (UK) before transferring to London's West End. This production has since been spooking theatre goers in Toronto, Moscow and it's now Sydney's turn to laugh and scream in equal measures.

One of 'Ghost Stories' most remarkable achievements, is that despite nearly half a million people seeing the play, details of its plot and storyline are shrouded in secrecy. There's only one way to know what it's about...and that is to see it for yourself.

Warning: Please be advised that whilst free of blood and gore, Ghost Stories contains moments of extreme shock and tension. The play is unsuitable for anyone under the age of 15. We strongly advise those of a nervous disposition and any other medical conditions to carefully consider their decision to attend.
