At midday on Saturday 13 February, Leigh Sales -- one of Australia's most respected journalists -- will sit down with acclaimed composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz to discuss his work and career in an exclusive event live on stage at Sydney's Theatre Royal.

Stephen Schwartz's has won three academy awards, four Grammys, four Drama Desk Awards and a special Tony Award for his work on Broadway hits including Godspell, Pippin and Wicked as well as the Disney movies Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Enchanted.

Leigh Sales is a Walkley Award-winning journalist and author. She anchor's ABC's national flagship current affair program 7.30 Report and in 2005 won a Walkley award for her coverage of issues surrounding Guantamo Bay. She won another Walkley in 2012 for best interviews for her work on 7.30. She has interviewed numerous World Leaders, including Hillary Clinton, Tony Blair and Benjamin Netanyahu.

Produced by Enda Markey, Stephen Schwartz in conversation with Leigh Sales will also feature performances from some of Australia's leading musical theatre performers: Stephen Mahy, Elise McCann, Christy Sullivan as well as Broadway performer Michael McCorry Rose.

Stephen Mahy has starred in the Australian productions of Jersey Boys, Grease and The Rocky Horror Show; Elise McCann is currently starring as Miss Honey in the hit musical Matilda; Christy Sullivan recently played Linda in Blood Brothers and has appeared in Next To Normal (MTC) and Spring Awakening (STC); Michael McCorry Rose was most recently seen on Broadway in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, prior to which he was seen as Fiyero in Wicked.
