The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) will welcome Carla Gibson as marketing director. Gibson will be responsible for marketing, patron services and brand management for the theatre.

"We are so excited to welcome Carla Gibson to lead our marketing team at The Rep," said Mark Bernstein, The Rep's managing director. "Carla's wealth of experience in the St. Louis arts community is a tremendous asset that will help us continue to build The Rep's position as one of the leading arts organizations in St. Louis."

Gibson currently holds the position of marketing manager at the Touhill Performing Arts Center where she manages marketing and communications for all events presented by the Touhill. With more than 20 years experience developing and executing integrated communications campaigns, Gibson's previous experience includes publicist at the Fox Theatre and director of account management with Image Works, where she managed advertising campaigns and publicity efforts for several accounts, including Jazz St. Louis and Circus Flora.

"The Rep has a long-standing reputation of excellence in the St. Louis community and region," said Gibson. "I am excited to step in and work with the talented people and the stellar organization garnering that level of esteem. I love working in and marketing theatre - by its very nature, it is an invigorating environment. So I am absolutely thrilled with the opportunity to promote The Rep's wonderful productions."
