St. Louis' favorite – and only – parody theatre company, MAGIC SMOKING MONKEY THEATRE, presents the return of THE ONE-HOUR STAR WARS TRILOGY: LIVE! April 23 – May 8 at the Regional Arts Commission Studio Theatre.
 
Adapted and directed by Artistic Director Donna Northcott, Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre presents the onstage spectacle THE ONE-HOUR STAR WARS TRILOGY: LIVE! MSMT's hugely popular mash-up of the epic space opera follows young Luke Skywalker as he leaves his home planet, teams up with the Rebel alliance and tries to save Princess Leia from the evil clutches of Darth Vader. Thrill to the onstage spectacle as Obi Wan Kenobi battles Darth Vader! Gasp as Han is thrown into the gaping maw of the drooling Sarlaac! Cringe as Luke gets romantically involved with his sister Leia! And there will be Ewoks…lots and lots of Ewoks. THE ONE-HOUR STAR WARS TRILOGY: All three movies in one hour. The good ones. No Jar Jar Binks. No kidding.

THE ONE-HOUR STAR WARS TRILOGY: LIVE! stars Joshua Nash Payne as Luke Skywalker, Ben Ritchie as Han Solo, Amy Kelly as Princess Leia, Chris Jones as Obi Wan Kenobi, Nick Kelly as Darth Vader, Andrew Keller as Chewbacca, David Moreshead as C3PO and Roger Erb as Lando Calrissian.  With special guest stars C. Blaine Adams, Adam Flores, Mike Juncal, Jimmy Krawczyk, James Slover, and Beth Wickenhauser.

Performances are April 23 – May 8, 2010, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30pm at the Regional Arts Commission Studio Theatre, 6128 Delmar in University City, MO 63112.   Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students 18 and under.
