Avalon Theatre Company Presents THE GOOD DOCTOR, 11/11-21

By:

Avalon Theatre Company presents The Good Doctor by Neil Simon, performed November 11 - 21, 2010 in their space in the Crestwood Plaza Art Space.

"Medicine is my lawful wife and literature my mistress; when I get tired of one, I spend the night with the other" - Anton Chekhov

In the late 1800s, Russia's preeminent literary doctor, Anton Chekhov, wrote humorous newspaper articles to pay for medical school. Neil Simon, Broadway's master of comedy, elegantly weaves eight of Chekhov's stories into a laugh-out-loud vaudeville experience. Laughter is always the best medicine, so let The Good Doctor cure what ails you!

Directed by Jim Anthony, the cast of The Good Doctor features Dean Christopher*, Theresa Hermann, Larry Mabrey*, Judi Mann*, and Austin Pierce.

Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 3:00 pm. Ticket prices are $20 student (full-time), $25 senior (60+) and $30 general admission. Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more.

To purchase tickets, order online (no fees involved) by visiting www.avalontheatre.org or by calling Avalon at 314-351-6482. Season tickets are still available.
