Boy About Ten, commissioned by the Trustus Playwrights' Festival, is a savage farce about what happens to the kids when the parents don't grow up. It's about the effect parents' choices have on their children-everyone wants to love and be loved, but sometimes those attempts at achieving two seemingly simple goals can go terribly wrong. South Carolina Theatre Association Appoints New Executive Director

The South Carolina Theatre Association Executive Board unanimously approved the change in organizational leadership from Administrative Director to Executive Director at its Board meeting June 11, 2018 to be effective August 1, 2018. Anita Sleeman was selected as the organization's first Executive Director. She has been with SCTA for over three years as Administrative Director and associated with the organization as Division Chair and a Board Member for over twenty years. Sleeman's leadership and experience will assist in the smooth transition for the organization. She has been responsible for rendering development advice, strategic planning, and overseeing the general operation of the organization.
