The Songwriters Hall of Fame announced today that Alan Menken will be the 2017 recipient of the esteemed Johnny Mercer Award at the 48th Annual Induction and Awards Dinner slated for Thursday, June 15th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

Patrick Street Productions will present A Little Night Music, with Music & Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and Book by Hugh Wheeler. Directed by Peter Jorgensen, the show will run May 11 - 21, 2017, with one preview on Thursday, May 11. Opening night is set for Saturday, May 13, at the Anvil Centre Theatre, 777 Columbia Street, New Westminster.

The Muny announced today 21 principal cast members for its 99th season. Full company casting will be announced throughout April. The 2017 Muny season opens with Jesus Christ Superstar followed by Disney's The Little Mermaid and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Determined to sabotage these plans and keep Hildy with the paper - and himself - Burns convinces her to cover one last story. Things quickly spiral out of control and Burns and Hildy find themselves tangled up in the case, and each other's lives. A hilarious look at identity, and the struggle to balance life and love.

REELZ today announced it has renewed original documentary series NATIONAL ENQUIRER INVESTIGATES for a second season.
