OH, HELLO on BROADWAY is the Broadway premiere of two of the two hottest voices in comedy today, Nick Kroll (Comedy Central's "Kroll Show") and John Mulaney (Netflix's "The Comeback Kid"). The Hollywood Reporter calls Kroll and Mulaney "the funniest comic duo of their generation!"
Respectively, the duo star as Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland - outrageously opinionated, 70-something, native New Yorkers that Kroll and Mulaney first began performing on the alternative comedy stages in NYC. Honed for over a decade, the fictional duo garnered a cult following and found their way onto a Comedy Central special, viral videos and late night couches everywhere. OH, HELLO on BROADWAY is Gil and George's "memoir for the stage" - a laugh-a-minute two-man tour-de-force that's part scripted, part spontaneous comedy, and totally unprecedented.
St. Geegland and Faizon have spent their entire lives second-acting Broadway shows and could not be more thrilled to make their Broadway bows. When reached for comment, George said, "This is the furthest dun'town we have been in years and we are not happy about it." Gil added, "I'm terrified. I have to go to the bathroom."

Broadway Review: ‘Oh, Hello on Broadway’
7 / 10
The core component of their act is pure character comedy. Looking a fright in floppy old-man wigs and baggy old-man outfits designed by Emily Rebholz, Gil Faizon (Kroll) and George St. Geegland (Mulaney) are 70-something roommates who have been living in a rent-controlled apartment on the Upper West Side for about half a century. Taking upon themselves the theatrical vibe of the neighborhood, George fancies himself a writer and Gil insists he's a working actor. To enlighten us about their work, they illustrate the techniques of delivering nonsensical curtain lines and making one-sided telephone calls. We should also be aware that, 'if this is a drama, there will be screaming.'
Oh, Hello on Broadway: EW stage review

Kroll and Mulaney are funny men, and the script is full of genuine laughs. They're smart and quick: The improv'd bit with Sorvino took an unexpected turn from peanut farming to Walt Whitman to Leaves of Grass. The play is directed by the playful and inventive Alex Timbers, who keeps the business humming along nicely. But there's virtually no attempt to initiate the uninitiated. Gil and George are obsessed with tuna, but there's never any explanation of why. They regularly mispronounce words - their show is playing on brudWAY - but that's presented as a mere tick, not anything that explains the characters. (It also leaves the innocent playgoer sometimes unable to decipher what's actually being said.)
