The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) and Hilary A. The Broadway community mourns the loss of Joseph Stein, who passed away Sunday at age 98. The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed in his memory on Thursday, October 28, at exactly 8:00pm for one minute.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, legendary theater writer Joseph Stein passed away yesterday, October 24, 2010 at the age of 98 according to those who have recently worked with him. Stein leaves behind the musicals Fiddler on the Roof, Zorba, and Mr. Wonderful, to name a few.
