Rubicon Theatre Company continues its 2009-2010 Season with a revival of BETH HENLEY's Pulitzer Prize-winning play CRIMES OF THE HEART. Set in Mississippi in 1974 (five years after Hurricane Camille), this sweet, sexy comedy follows the travails of the three Magrath sisters, who come together at the family home in Hazelhurst when the youngest Babe is charged with shooting her husband 'cause she didn't like his looks.'

Legendary costume designer ALBERT WOLSKY and world renowned scenic designer MING CHO LEE are among the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 23 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Two-time Academy Award-winner Albert Wolsky will receive the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer and educator Ming Cho Lee will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design.

Performance Network Theatre, Blackbird Theatre, Tipping Point Theatre and Williamston Theatre announce joint General auditions for their 2010-2011 seasons running September through August. Auditions will be held at Performance Network Theatre in Ann Arbor, MI.

Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC will present two plays in repertory, Gee's Bend by Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder and Southeastern Center for Contemporary Arts by Angus MacLachlan April 15 - May 2, 2010 at Meymandi Theatre at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh.

The 2010 Pulitzer Prizewinners and Nominated Finalists in all categories will be announced on April 12, 2010 at 3 p.m. Eastern daylight time. Finalists are not announced in advance. The 2010 Prizes are awarded for work published, produced or premiered in 2009.
