MJTC to Present THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE

Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company (MJTC) is pleased to announce the opening of The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, directed by Warren Bowles and starring Sally Wingert. This production runs from February 13th - March 6th, 2015 at the Highland Park Community Center Theater, 1978 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55116. Individual tickets go on sale January 8th and range in price from $20 - $32. Book-It Repertory Theatre presents WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT LOVE, named for Raymond Carver's 1981 famed short story collection, as the opening production in its 26th season. Pulled from the company's repertoire, these four stories have been adapted for the stage and directed by Book-It Founder and Co-Artistic Director Jane Jones. WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT LOVE will play at the Center Theatre at the Armory tonight, September 22 - October 18, 2015.

Hale Centre Theatre Breaks Ground on New Theater

Hale Centre Theatre hosted a ground breaking ceremony Sept. 16, with live performances by past cast members and a 3-D video of what is to be a one-of-a-kind center stage for its new 130,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art theater to be built in Sandy City. Work is now in full force by Layton Construction, at 9900 Monroe Street, between the Sandy City offices and Interstate 15.

Bill Camp (as Reverend John Hale), Jim Norton (as Giles Corey), Tavi Gevinson (as Mary Warren), and Jason Butler Harner (as Reverend Samuel Parris) are among those who will join previously announced stars Ben Whishaw (as John Proctor), Sophie Okonedo (as Elizabeth Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (as Abigail Williams), and Ciaran Hinds (as Deputy-Governor Danforth).
