Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, beginning tonight, December 17, in the West End, stars Tamsin Greig, Haydn Gwynne, Jerome Pradon, Anna Skellern, Ricardo Afonso, Haydn Oakley, Willemijn Verkaik and Seline Hizli.

The feature film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved fairy tale musical INTO THE WOODS is coming to movie theaters nationwide on Christmas Day and BroadwayWorld celebrates the man behind the music and lyrics with a new series highlighting the work of the iconic composer and lyricist, finishing today with a look at his work in the 1990s and 2000s.

This December, Signature Theatre invites you and the family to ring in the holiday season with two limited-run shows.

Seline Hizli completes the cast for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown joining the previously announced Tamsin Greig, Haydn Gwynne, Jerome Pradon, Anna Skellern, Ricardo Afonso, Haydn Oakley and Willemijn Verkaik. Additional cast includes Marianne Benedict, Holly James, Michael Matus, Rebecca McKinnis, Sarah Moyle, Alastair Natkiel, Nuno Queimado and Dale Rapley.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that the upcoming Off-Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine's Tony Award-winning Into the Woods will feature the original McCarter Theatre Center/Fiasco Theater cast, including: Jessie Austrian as "Baker's Wife," Noah Brody as "Lucinda, Wolf & Cinderella's Prince," Paul L. Coffey as "Mysterious Man," Andy Grotelueschen as "Milky White, Florinda & Rapunzel's Prince," Liz Hayes as "Cinderella's Stepmother & Jack's Mother," Claire Karpen as "Cinderella & Granny," Jennifer Mudge as Witch," Patrick Mulryan as "Jack & Steward," Ben Steinfeld as "Baker" and Emily Youngas "Little Red Ridinghood & Rapunzel."

Actors' Equity Association will present 'PASS IT ON: Thriving Artists Reflect on a Life in the Theatre', moderated by Lee Roy Reams and featuring Harvey Evans, Micki Grant, Joan Shepard and Frank Hartenstein*, on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 7 p.m. at 165 West 46th Street, 14th Floor Council Room, NYC.

Running in the MAX Theatre today, October 7 - November 9, Signature's production will include several brand new songs by Mel Marvin and Bob Satuloff and a reimagined script that John Bishop worked on until his death in 2006.

On Monday, September 22 the Theater People Podcast welcomes the multi-talented Telly Leung. Hadyn Gwynne, Jerome Pradon and Anna Skellern join Tamsin Greig in the UK premiere of David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane's new musical adaptation of Pedro Almodovar's Oscar-nominated film Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher, and following two full-scale development workshops with actors, musicians and the creative team, the production will open in a limited run for 20 weeks only at The Playhouse Theatre on 12 January 2015, with previews from 20 December 2014.

In the coming months, Broadway will welcome a fresh crop of productions- many of which will mark the Broadway debuts for a slew of talented actors. Godspell's Telly Leung recently had an impromptu solo performance during a tour of a chapel in Florence, Italy. In this video, the Broadway star sings the fitting hymn 'Joyful, Joyful,' a capella, accompanied by the lovely accoustics of the church.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Edo de Waart open the 2014 Beethoven Festival with Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 on March 21-23, 2014 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. The program features the MSO Chorus, soprano Susanna Phillips, mezzo- soprano Kelley O'Connor, tenor Thomas Cooley, and baritone Christopher Maltman. The performances open with John Adams's The Wound-Dresser, a setting of Walt Whitman's Civil War prose.

On March 7th, Reno Little Theater will welcome Telly Leung as a Guest Teaching Artist. Telly is being brought to us by Studio 7Arts and will be teaching selections from Rent, Godspell and additional shows he has performed in on Broadway, as well as selections from the television show Glee which he appeared on as Wes, a member of the Dalton Warblers.
