Trevor Nunn to Direct ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD at TRHC

Following the opening of Terence Rattigan's Flare Path, the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company today (1 April 2011) announce a further two productions to be directed by Trevor Nunn in his role as Artistic Director. After a three week run at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Nunn's production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead comes to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in June, followed in September by William Shakespeare's The Tempest. Further productions in the season will be announced shortly.

A dark, supernatural odyssey set over one night in the city, TERMINUS will fully satisfy the appetite of theatre lovers through excellent acting and rich text. Performances by the Abbey Theatre, the national theatre of Ireland, are part of a seven-city U.S. tour celebrating the Abbey's 100th anniversary of touring in America. Paula Brancati, Lauren Collins, Wendy Crewson, Cynthia Dale, Andrea Martin, and Louise Pitre are officially set to be the first cast of the Toronto production of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE. As in the initial New York staging of the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, the production will feature a company of six that rotates in four-week cycles.
