Before the Backstreet Boys, before Frankie Vali and the Four Seasons, there was a fictional male quartet called The Plaids: Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie. Destined to harmonize their way to greatness, this dynamic quartet performs 'the show that never was' during the Costa Mesa Playhouse's presentation of Forever Plaid, April 8-May 8. The musical is directed by Stephen Hulsey.

Newcomers to the cast include Gavin Creel, Caissie Levy and Sasha Allen, who join the rest of the tribe, who are reprising their roles from Central Park last summer. Early audiences have responded with standing ovations and a toe tapping good time.
