THE GREEN ROOM; A NEW OFF-BROADWAY backstage musical illustrating the journey of four best friends in college determined to make it out of the Green Room and onto the Off-Broadway stage.

John, Cliff, Anna and Divonne live out their complicated lives in the green room of their college theatre department. Often hilarious, at times heartwarming, this modern musical gives an authentic account of the struggles these four have in finding their place in the world. The rock-pop-infused score includes the Songwriter's guild of America award-winning song "It's All About Me."

A popular Welsh singer with an attractive rich, dark voice, who came to prominence in the UK in 1979 when her recording of 'He Was Beautiful (The Theme From The Deer Hunter)', entered the Top 20. Her version of 'He Was Beautiful', backed by the BBC Midland Light Orchestra, generated such a favorable response that she recorded it immediately. The success of the record led to a series of television appearances and concerts at top venues, including the London Palladium. In 1981, she made her debut at London's Royal Festival Hall, supporting American singer Vic Damone, and was named Vocalist Of The Year.

Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights) will be portraying Anne in a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II (January 31 - February 10). She is joined by dancers Mindy Lai (LCT: The King and I) and Erica Misilo.
