In a city of the future that has been inflicted with a terrible drought, business tycoon Caldwell B. Cladwell has made his fortune through bribery and the monopolization of all public toilets. With a brutal police force maintaining law and order, it’s not a place to get caught short! Risk it and you will be sent off to a place no one returns from – the infamous Urinetown.



The city needs a revolution and every revolution needs a hero… however unlikely.



Jamie Lloyd is directing the UK premiere of Tony Award winning URINETOWN The Musical, with music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann and book and lyrics by Greg Kotis.

Broadway's ON THE TOWN Bumps Two-Disc Cast Album Release to March

The new Broadway revival of On The Town was recorded in November 2014 for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. After announcing a previous date for January 20, the label's website now lists a March 3 release.

Paper Mill Playhouse Extends ELF into 2015

Paper Mill Playhouse released a block of great seats today for its holiday musical, Elf, for the week following Christmas. Expanded availability includes performances from December 27, 2014 through January 4, 2015. Based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, Elf has a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Elf is directed by Eric Ankrim and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. Elf runs eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater through January 4, 2015. Elf has been playing to many sold-out houses since November 26. The production opens tonight, 1 December 2014, with previews from 21 November, and runs until 7 March 2015.
