The Actors Fund Special Performance of The Book of Mormon is set for September 13, 2012 at 2 p.m. Each year, Broadway companies, in New York and on the road, generously give their time and talent by adding a performance to already rigorous schedules to benefit The Actors Fund.

Book of Mormon cast members Nic Rouleau, Will Blum, and Jason Michael Snow are set to perform on Monday, July 16 in MORMONS: A Musical Cabaret of Godly Proportions, a special benefit cabaret at Triad NYC. They will be joined by a host of Broadway performers singing musical theater songs for 'saints and sinners alike'. All proceeds will benefit the 2012 FringeNYC production of #MormonInChief, a new play by Matthew Greene.

As previously announced, THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine 2011 Tony Awards including Best Musical, will make its West Coast premiere in a strictly limited 12-week engagement from September 5 through November 25, 2012 at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets for the engagement go on sale to the general public today, June 10.

With oddly still no official word on who would be taking over as the new leads in the Tony-winning THE BOOK OF MORMON for departing stars (and former Tony nominees) Josh Gad (June 6) and Andrew Rannells (June 10), BWW reached out to a source in the production who confirmed that standby Jared Gertner would be taking over for Gad as Elder Cunningham and standby Nic Rouleau will be taking over for Rannells as Elder Price.
