The Public Theater announced today that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, has joined the company of TROILUS AND CRESSIDA as Achilles. He is replacing David Harbour who suffered an injury during previews and will be unable to complete the run. The new press opening will now be Tuesday, August 9.

Lipuma, announces a one-week extension to Company, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth. The production is directed by William Brown. Company features original orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, Orchestral Reductions by Ian Weinberger, music direction by Tom Vendafreddo and choreography by Brock Clawson. 2016 marks the 125th anniversary of Oscar Wilde's only novel and now THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY has been freshly adapted by Merlin Holland, Wilde's only grandson, and John O'Connor of European Arts Company. The new drama Sweat by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage (Ruined; By The Way, Meet Vera Stark) comes to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater following a critically-acclaimed debut at Oregon Shakespeare Festival as part of a co-commission between the two theaters.
