This Sunday evening, September 30, marks the final performance of David Garrison and Jenn Harris, as Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling, in Off-Broadway's SILENCE! The Musical at the new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. The new stars of SILENCE! will be announced later this week.

The Tony nominated actor Craig Bierko (THE MUSIC MAN) has joined the cast of AdA (Author directing Author) -- an evening comprised of new one act plays by American playwright Neil LaBute and Italian playwright Marco Calvani, in which each playwright will direct the other's work -- to be presented by La MaMa at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan, with preview performances starting September 28 prior to an official press opening Sunday, September 30. Both plays are receiving their American premieres and will be performed on the same program at every performance of AdA.

Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel have just announced the design team for the upcoming Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN. Tony and Drama Desk Award winning scenic designer DEREK McLANE (33 Variations, Anything Goes), Tony and Drama Desk Award winning lighting designer KENNETH POSNER (The Coast of Utopia, Part 2 - Shipwreck) and five-time Tony Award nominated costume designer ANN ROTH (The Book of Mormon) will design the play about power, ambition, political secrets, ruthlessness and the race for the presidency.

Happy Birthday, Hunter Foster! Foster is perhaps best known for playing 'Bobby Strong' in Urinetown, for which he received nominations for an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Lucille Lortel Award. In 2003, Foster starred as 'Seymour' in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, for which he received his first Tony Award nomination. Foster also appeared as 'Leo Bloom' in The Producers on Broadway, 'Ensign Pulver' in Mister Roberts at the Kennedy Center, 'Ben' in Modern Orthodox off-Broadway, and 'Sam Phillips' in Million Dollar Quartet.

The Muny has announced principal casting for the sixth show of its 94th season, Pirates! (or, Gilbert and Sullivan Plunder'd), July 30 - August 5, directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Denis Jones. Conceived by Gordon Greenburg, Nell Benjamin and John McDaniel, Pirates! (or, Gilbert and Sullivan Plunder'd) features lyrics by W.S. Gilbert, and music by Arthur Sullivan. Revised book and lyrics are by Nell Benjamin, and music supervision, new arrangements and orchestrations are by John McDaniel.

The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli, is set to begin a new winter playing schedule beginning January 12th at The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue (at 9th St.) SILENCE! The Musical opened July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, led by David Cote of Time Out and New York 1 News who said, "Pungent, punchy and raunchy, with a sheepish chorus to boot, the consummately silly SILENCE! will leave you stuffed and wanting mutton more." The show immediately became a sold-out smash hit and was just selected by Time Magazine as one of the year's Top 10 Plays and Musicals along with such lofty company as The Book of Mormon and War Horse.

A stellar sibling casting set-up has been established on ABC Family's BUNHEADS. Entertainment Tonight has revealed that Broadway veteran Hunter Foster is set to join his sister - Tony-award winner Sutton Foster - on the ballet-themed dramedy. The series returns with all new episodes with the mid-season premiere on Monday, January 7th at 9PM ET/PT. Hunter's first episode is set to air on Jan. 28.
