The silent 1928 Buster Keaton classic THE CAMERAMAN comes to the Music Box as part of its monthly Silent Cinema Series with live pipe organ accompaniment. Second Saturday Silent Cinema presents THE CAMERAMAN on Saturday, November 10, noon, at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Avenue.

Now, a pair of hour-long performances have finally been coupled in one package for the first time as PRINCE FROM ANOTHER PLANET: 40th ANNIVERSARY EDITION. This deluxe 2-CD+DVD box set will be available everywhere today, October 30th through RCA/Legacy, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com), the nationally acclaimed summer arts day camp which has just finished its 45th successful season, announces the first of its Open Houses for the 2013 season. It will take place on Sunday October 28 from 11AM to 2PM. In addition to the Center's frequent Open House dates, Usdan also offers individual weekend guided tours available by appointment. Ridiculously silly in all the right ways and featuring a comically gifted, star-studded principal cast--headed up by Richard Kind, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Rebecca Romijn, Dane Cook, Gary Beach, and Roger Bart--that delivers the goods with infectious gusto, this large-scale revival on this outdoor arena elicits a huge chorus of laughter. Back to re-stage the show on the massive stage of the Hollywood Bowl is Susan Stroman, who won Tony Awards for her direction and choreography of the original Broadway production. What results is a fun, beautifully-mounted production that's about as close to a real Broadway musical show than previous summer shows have attempted at this massive stage in the past.
