In a bungalow in a forest in Essex lives Mrs. Bramson, a fussy hypochondriac. She pays her niece Olivia a small salary to act as her companion and the household also includes her cook, Mrs. Terence, and her maid Dora. When Dora gets pregnant, Mrs. Bramson is determined to get the boyfriend to marry her. At the same time, a woman disappears from a nearby hotel. The police begin investigations and, when Dora brings home her boyfriend Dan, Olivia immediately notices that his behavior is not quite normal. He is perpetually putting on an act and soon he worms his way into the affections of Mrs. Bramson, leaves his job as pageboy at the hotel and moves in. Then the woman's body is found - headless...
The Joffrey Ballet celebrates its 20th anniversary of calling Chicago home in the 2014-15 season and its annual fall engagement brings the Joffrey Premiere of a newly envisioned Swan Lake to Chicago for the first time, choreographed by one of ballet's most acclaimed choreographers, Christopher Wheeldon. Continuing Joffrey Artistic Director Ashley Wheater's endeavor to bring re-imagined story-ballets to Chicago audiences, this performance represents the first time The Joffrey Ballet has ever performed a Swan Lake in its almost 60-year history. From September 4-14, 2014, Houston Ballet launches its 45th season with the company premiere of John Neumeier's three-act ballet A Midsummer Night's Dream. The ballet is based on Shakespeare's lighthearted play of the same name and follows the hijinks and hilarity that ensues when a well-intentioned plan with a love potion goes awry. Created in 1977, A Midsummer Night's Dream has served as Mr. Neumeier's calling card, being seen as one of his most joyous and popular creations. Houston Ballet is the first American ballet company to perform the famous work and it is the first piece by Mr. Neumeier to enter the Houston Ballet repertoire.

Sweet Home Alle Bamma picks up where Book One of the Solbidyum Wars Saga, 'Battle Of The New Orleans' leaves off. Having barely recovered from injuries that nearly took his life in the battle with the Brotherhood of Light to reclaim the Federation star ship Dusten, Tibby must fight again in a struggle of a different kind when both he and Kalana are poisoned by enemy operatives. Tibby's Earth DNA proves to be stronger than the deadly poison; Kalana, however, is rapidly succumbing and must be placed into stasis. One antidote exists against this toxin and it can only be found on the remote planet of Alle Bamma, a non-aligned jungle world on the fringe of the Federation territories. Tibby abandons Admiral Regeny in the Federation's plan to ambush the Brotherhood at the planet Prolaxen, in order to race to the jungle planet with his crew aboard the space yacht, New Orleans, in search of the rare ruguian eggs that are required to make the antidote. Tibby arrives at Alle Bamma only to discover that the Brotherhood has established bases and drug labs on the planet for processing the illicit drug called God's Sweat and that they have enslaved the indigenous natives to harvest and process the drug. In order to save Kalana, Tibby and crew must defeat the Brotherhood, free the natives, find the ruguian eggs, and deal with a mysterious god entity called Thumumba.

About The Author:
Dale Musser was born in 1944 in a small rural community in Pennsylvania. From 1967 until 2012 he was employed as a structural and piping designer in the marine and offshore industry, the cogeneration power industry and in hard rock metal mining. His work at three shipyards and assignments with several engineering and naval architectural firms during his career in Virginia, Texas, and Maine took him to such places as London, U.K., Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., Scotland and Mexico. After the death of his wife in 1999, Mr. Musser changed careers and went to work in Arizona and Utah in the hard rock mining industry. He retired in fall of 2012 and currently resides in Mesa, Arizona; however, his plans for the near future involve a move to New Mexico.
Dale enjoys rock hunting and lapidary work, gourmet cooking, writing, poetry, art, music, religions and philosophy in small doses, astronomy and the sciences in general, hiking, camping, the outdoors, and the gifts that nature provides. Mr. Musser is a member of Mensa and avid reader.
