Michael Ritchie, Artistic Director of Center Theatre Group, has set the 2010-2011 season at CTG's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. The new season, which features three productions and four DouglasPlus presentations, will run from October 7, 2010, through August 28, 2011.

March 3, 2010 - Theatre Exile is proud to close their 13th season with the Philadelphia premiere of Shining City by Conor McPherson, the award-winning playwright of The Weir and The Seafarer. Directed by Exile's associate artistic director Matt Pfieffer, Shining City runs April 7th through the 25th at the Plays and Players Theatre, with the press opening Friday, April 9th at 8pm.

Producers Phil Monat, T. Richard Fitzgerald and Randall L. Wreghitt announced today that TALLEY'S FOLLY, the classic Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Lanford Wilson (Burn This, Fifth of July, Balm in Gilead) will have its first-ever Broadway revival as part of the 2010-2011 Season. The production will begin previews in spring 2011, with exact dates and a theater to be announced.

Rep Stage, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), continues its 17th season with ?Hysteria,? a farcical re-imagining of an actual 1938 meeting between Sigmund Freud and Salvador Dali ? a year before Freud?s death. Steven Carpenter (?Mrs. Farnsworth,? ?Trumbo: Red, White and Blacklisted?) returns to Rep Stage to direct two-time Helen Hayes Award-winner Bruce Nelson as Salvador Dali and Jeff Baker as Sigmund Freud. Also featured in the cast are Conrad Feininger and Marni Penning. ?Hysteria? opens October 7 and runs through November 1, 2009 in the Studio Theatre of the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center (HVPA) on the campus of HCC.

April is the cruelest - and most hilarious - month at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, when Les Waters lets loose with another shocking script from Martin McDonagh. In 2007, the Obie Award-winning director scored a direct hit with his extended run of The Pillowman; since then, the Academy Award-winning author released his first feature film, In Bruges. Now Berkeley Rep reenlists these seasoned artists for another vicious comedy: The Lieutenant of Inishmore. Staged in the state-of-the-art Roda Theatre, this edgy farce begins previews on April 17, opens April 22, and closes May 17.
