The Joyce Theater will welcome an impressive roster of the world's most acclaimed dance companies for its 2010-2011 Fall/Winter Season, which will include several debuts and four international companies, all presenting U.S. premieres.

Joining the previously announced first New York Revival of Parts 1 and 2 of ANGELS IN AMERICA: A GAY FANTASIA ON NATIONAL THEMES and the New York premiere of THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES will be THE ILLUSION, Kushner's freely adapted version of Pierre Corneille's L'Illusion Comique, directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer. The production will be presented in Spring, 2011 at the Peter Norton Space, (555 West 42nd Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues). Dates and casting will be announced at a later date.

For the 39th consecutive year, the acclaimed New Directors/New Films festival, presented by The Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Museum of Modern Art, will showcase the finest in new filmmaking talent from around the world. The 2010 edition of this world-renowned film festival opens on Wednesday, March 24, and closes on Sunday, April 4.

The New York Philharmonic will present SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert on March 15 and Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. This celebration of the 80th birthday of the great Broadway and film composer/lyricist will include his most enduring orchestral music and songs - performed, in some cases, by the stars of the original Broadway cast productions - in addition to rarely-heard material. Joining the celebration will be (in alphabetical order) Michael Cerveris, Victoria Clark, Jason Danieley, Nathan Gunn, George Hearn, Patti LuPone, Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald, Donna Murphy, Mandy Patinkin, Bernadette Peters, and others to be announced, including surprise guests. Marshall Pailet (The 49 Project) will direct the 90-minute play starring Anthony Alessandro, Steven Hauck, Kate Kearney-Patch, Kate MacCluggage and Athena Masci.

The Irish Tenors - Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns, and Karl Scully - will bring their special holiday concert to the Aronoff Center's Procter & Gamble Hall on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 8:00 PM. The Irish Tenors' holiday tribute to the season is a blend of traditional carols and classic Irish ballads. The concert is part of the Cincinnati Arts Association's 2009-10 Season of 'Classic Nights Out.'
