For the first time in over fifty years, Harbinger Records will release 'Ballads for the Age of Science,' the most successful educational recordings of all time, as a six-CD box set. The Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) and Newtown Arts Company have announced that the dates for the 47th Annual Bucks County Playhouse Student Theater Festival will be May 8th, 9th and 12th-16th, 2014 at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA.

Maestro Louis Scaglione, President and Music Director of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra organization (PYO) and Delia Raab-Snyder, Director of PYO's Tune Up Philly announced today that The D'Addario Foundation presented PYO's Tune Up Philly with a $2,000 grant in support of the El Sistema-inspired, after-school program. In addition to the grant, The D'Addario Foundation also presented PYO's Tune Up Philly with an in-kind donation of instrument accessories valued at $750.

2012 Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer recreates his Tony Award winning role in the film adaptation of BARRYMORE, directed & adapted by Érik Canuel, which will be theatrically released jointly by BY Experience and Image Entertainment beginning Thursday, November 15 in New York and Los Angeles. BARRYMORE is based on the play by William Luce.

Bucks County Playhouse announced a special two day engagement of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters, starring theatre, television and film legends Tyne Daly and James Earl Jones. Love Letters will be performed tonight, October 20th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street). Following the Saturday evening performance, there will be a benefit reception underwritten by The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm (barleysheaf.com) to honor the cast and raise money for the Playhouse.
