Stone Soup Theatre Youth Conservatory Auditions for A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES 10/4, 10/8

Youth Auditions (ages 8-20) for Stone Soup Theatre's Fall Production of Dylan's nostalgic tale will take place Sunday, Oct 4 and Thurs, Oct 8 from 4-7pm, by appointment.

Please be prepared to present a one-minute monologue or poem as well as a simple Christmas song. Please call 206-633-1883 to schedule an appointment.

One of the most enduring, yet often forgotten Christmas memoirs, Dylan Thomas's A Child's Christmas in Wales comes to life at Stone Soup Theatre recreating the nostalgic magic of Thomas' childhood when everything was brighter, better and more alive. However, what Dylan comes to realize is that the experience of Christmas doesn't change with time, but holds a place in our hearts that nothing else can fill. Performers include our youth conservatory students and professional adult actors. Come watch Dylan recreate Christmas at Stone Soup with live classic Welsh instrumentation and vocals that bring us right back in time.

Rehearsals begin Fri, Oct 9, 2009; Fridays from 4 pm - 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 10 am - 1:30 pm. Performance Dates are Fri and Sat evenings, Dec 4-19th, as well as Wednesday December 23rd at 7:30pm. Matinee performances are Saturdays and Sundays and Thurs, Dec. 24 at 2pm. General admission is $14, and groups of 4 or more people are $12 each.
