Local theatre companies Sound Theatre Company and GreenStage are teaming together this Valentine's Day in a joint fundraiser which offers donors the opportunity to have an actor perform Shakespeare's popular love sonnets for their valentines.

Beginning February 10th and continuing through Tuesday, February 14th, actors dressed in Shakespearean costume will be available to surprise someone special with sentiments of love from the Bard. For donation amounts as low as $75, donors can choose to send just a sonnet, or upgrade to add a rose, gourmet chocolate box or a add a persoal touch.

All proceeds go to these local theatre companies and support live theatre in the Seattle area. See www.valentinesonnets.org for details.

The mission of GREENSTAGE is to inspire our audiences to engage in live theatre as part of their recreation. We wish to instill and foster in our community an appreciation for live theatre, with a strong belief that theatre can be enjoyed in the same spirit as a picnic or a ballgame. We make high-quality theatrical productions of Shakespeare's plays freely accessible to all residents and visitors to Seattle and King County. www.greenstage.org
