Annex Theatre's Alecto: Issue #1 Closes 2/20

Annex Theatre presents their second main stage show of the 2009-2010 season, Alecto: Issue #1, by Alexander Harris, directed by Jaime Roberts. A new play about super heroes and the villains who love to hate them, Alecto: Issue #1 brings the "bam!" and "pow!" of your favorite paper comics to life. The show will close on February 20, 2010.

A troubled heroine with an incredible power discovers that the popular superhero team she's joined has questionable notions of good and evil. Alecto: Issue #1 translates the world of comic books to the stage, mixing social satire, physical spectacle, sly comedy, and an imaginary pig. Contains mature themes and language, not suitable for young audiences.
