Award-winning Irish comedian Danny O'Brien returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his most adventurous and unique solo show to date.

After inheriting a broken-down, unreliable, older-than-he-is motorcycle, Danny decided to take to the road, touring Ireland before heading over to the Fringe. But before he set off,

Danny randomly found a picture of his father at 17 years old, on an almost identical bike. This small coincidence becomes far more poignant when we discover that Danny's father has been missing for 20 years - the same amount of time that the motorbike he's travelling on had remained untouched.

From the frustration of trying to contact a family that have all but disappeared to the awkward discovery of a long lost sister, via Danny's hilarious and energetic tales of the road, this is a touching and highly personal story. Prepare yourself for an honest and funny look at trying to literally climb holy mountains (and barely surviving) and build family bridges on both sides of the water- and how things don't always turn out as planned.

Following in the footsteps of Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran and Dara Ó Briain - Danny was handpicked this year to perform as part of the iconic "Best of The Edinburgh Fest" Show and has just returned from Australia touring Perth World Fringe, Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

In addition to his fifth solo show at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Danny has also performed as part of "AAA Stand-Up" (total sell-out from 2005-2015) at The Pleasance Courtyard, as well as The Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, Latitude Comedy Festival (UK), BugJam Festival (UK), The Vodafone Comedy Festival, Ravlóid (Irish speaking) Festival, Electric Picnic and The Vodafone Comedy Carnival, as well as a host of International shows in Berlin, Barcelona, Brussels, Malmö, Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm and LA.

Danny has also featured in The Comedy Channel's Brexit at Tiffany's and RTE's Cutting Edge which both aired this month. He is currently providing tour support to Dermot & Dave's sell-out "AH sure look it" tour all across Ireland.
