Big Idea Theatre Holds Auditions For GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS 10/19

Rehearsal Dates: Dec 1 - Jan 14
Performance Dates: Jan 15 - Feb 13; Fri & Sat at 8p.m. and Sun at 2:30 p.m. (Feb 17, 24, 31).

Please bring your headshot and resume. We are looking for men, ranging in age from 25 and older. All roles are open. Be prepared to read for multiple roles. Please email postmaster@bigideatheatre.com to sign up for an audition, and put "GGR audition" in the subject line (although not mandatory). A reply email will be sent with an attached audition form, rehearsal schedule and reading sides. Print these items and bring them to the audition.

Summary of Glengarry GLen Ross: Times are tough in a New York real-estate office; the salesmen (Shelley Levene, Ricky Roma, Dave Moss, and George Aaronow) are given a strong incentive by Blake to succeed in a sales contest. The prizes? First prize is a Cadillac Eldorado, second prize is a set of steak knives, third prize is the sack! There is no room for losers in this dramatically masculine world; only "closers" will get the good sales leads. There is a lot of pressure to succeed, so a robbery is committed which has unforeseen consequences for all the characters.
