Rhode Island Monthly's President and Publisher John J. Palumbo announced that the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) was voted "Best Theatre" in the 2011 Rhode Island Monthly Readers' Poll at last night's annual Best of Rhode Island® Party. This is the third consecutive year that PPAC has won in the "Best Theatre" category. The Party has been held at PPAC for the past seven years; all proceeds from the Party benefit ArtReach, which is an educational performing and visual arts partnership between PPAC and Rhode Island Monthly.

PPAC President J.L. "Lynn" Singleton said, "We are thrilled that we have been voted ‘Best Theatre' by Rhode Island Monthly readers for a third consecutive year. We strive every day to ensure that our patrons have the best possible experience at the Theatre. Thank you, Rhode Island Monthly readers, for this great recognition!"
