Epic Theatre to Present RED SPEEDO at Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket Pool

Epic Theatre Company will present the theatrical event of the year. Lucas Hnath's brilliant look at masculinity and athleticism arrives in New England in a visceral site-specific production that cannot be missed.

In "Red Speedo," Ray is a talented swimmer on the verge of making it to the Olympics. A slot in the games would mean an endorsement deal with Speedo, and the chance to be set for life. But when performance-enhancing drugs are found in the locker room, Ray's dream--and his talent--are called into question.

"We've been building up to this production for months," says Artistic Director Kevin Broccoli, "The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket have graciously allowed us to use their incredible indoor pool at their beautiful new facility. We believe the addition of a site-specific location has really catapulted this show into being the theatrical event of the season."

Vince Petronio directs a cast that includes Gunnar Manchester, Christopher Crider-Plonka, Emma Sacchetti, and Jay Are Adams.

"Red Speedo" by Lucas Hnath runs October 27th - November 11th at the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket at the indoor pool. A portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket.

Tickets are $20 General Admission, $15 for Seniors.
All Students (High School and College) and Members of the Military can attend any performance for free as part of Epic's free ticketing program.
