Daydream Theatre Co Presents BARRY WEINTRAUB: LEGACY
Daydream Theatre Company and The Arctic Playhouse are proud to present the world premiere is the play Barry Weintraub: Legacy, Written and directed by Lenny Schwartz, opening on April 13, 2017 and running April 14, 15, 21, 22, 27,28, 29 2017 all at 8pm. The play runs at the Arctic Playhouse, 117 Washington St, West Warwick RI 02893. Tickets are 10 Dollars online at Smarttix and 15 dollars at the door.
Barry Weintraub: Legacy is a comedy about a nerd namEd Barry Weintraub, who is terrible at life, and the miscreants that are in his life...who also are terrible at life. Yet, somehow, they all form a family. Barry has come to terms with this...and now learns new clues about his long missing son...and how he may be able to bring him home. This is a play about how we can't choose our family...no matter how much we may wish to.
Schwartz is very excited about the play as it opens up on his fortieth birthday: "I wanted to celebrate my 40th birthday in the happiest manner possible. So I decided I would write and direct this play. Because life is short and we need more joy in our lives."
