2011 Winter Theater Classes with ACT Held at St. Andrew's School 1/18

ACT at St. Andrew?s School, a youth theater, proudly announces its 2011 Winter Class Schedule, open to the public and beginning Tuesday, January 18. Theater classes are offered for grades K-12 and are taught by professional theater artist-educators. ACT at St. Andrew?s School is the former All Children?s Theatre, an award-winning youth theater which began in 1987 in Providence, RI. All classes take place on the beautiful 100-acre campus at St. Andrew?s School, 63 Federal Road, Barrington, RI. ACT AT ST. ANDREW?S SCHOOL
ACT at St. Andrew?s School (formerly All Children?s Theatre) offers theatrical training in a creative environment for grades K-12, from the aspiring performer to the one who wants to make friends and build confidence.
Student actors will focus on improvisation, acting skills, playwriting skills, voice and diction, movement and musical theater skills through a process-oriented method, culminating into an informal presentation at the end of each class.

? Broadway Bound, our program for grades K-2, Wednesdays, 4:00-5:30pm, January 19 ?
March 9.

? Creative Playhouse, our program for grades 3-5, Saturdays, 10:00am-12:00pm, January 22 ?March 12.

? On the Boards, our program for grades 6-9. Tuesdays, 4:00-6:00pm, January 18 ?March 8.

? Friday Night Teen Studio, Advanced Actors Lab,Fridays, 7:00-9:00pm, January 21 ?March 11.

**NEW PROGRAM**

Play in a Day
Come join us for a dynamic Day of Theater. Actors and director meet for one Saturday from 9:00am ? 7:00pm, participate in creative work throughout the day, and present to family and friends in the evening.

? Musical Theater: Sing! Act! Sing again! Led by Kelly House
January 29. Grades 3-7.
April 2, Grades 8-12.

? Play Creation thru Improvisation: Create an original play through theater games and exercises. Led by David Rabinow.
March 5. Grades 3-8

? Move, Move, Move!: This is a combination dance/movement and acting class. Led by Leigh Hendrix.
March 19. Grades 6-10.
