Harry Belafonte believed in King's Dream of Racial Harmony and Human Rights and Dignity. Belafonte raised money and helped organize King's 1963 March On Washington, and spent his own money to help and support Freedom Riders in The Deep South. The bond between Belafonte and Dr. King was genuine and deep.
