The Minnesota Card Show is scheduled to take place on April 20, 2024, at the Saint Paul River Center. Excitingly, six cast members from the classic movie 'The Sandlot' will be in attendance for the show. The notable personalities include Tom Guiry, Victor DiMattia, Brandon Adams, Shane Obedzinski, Mary York, and Grant Gelt. You'll have the opportunity to meet them and get autographs on Saturday during the event.

DeMille's Cleopatra, will be inducted into the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) Hall of Fame for their extraordinary contributions to the visual art of storytelling at the 24th Annual Art Directors Guild's Excellence in Production Design Awards. The 2020 Awards will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, returning to the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. The announcement was made today by President Nelson Coates ADG and Awards Producer Scott Moses ADG.  

There is a definite relationship between rap and jazz. Musicians improvise with notes. Rappers improvise with words. Many of the great hip-hop recordings featured samples from some of the greatest jazz albums. So it should be no surprise that there are rappers who are not only comfortable in post-bop sonic settings, but can also deliver some swinging verses themselves. The result of this fusion of styles, motifs, and genres is a corps of instrumentalists who are influenced by rappers, who in turn, are influenced by musicians.

The CW has given a pilot order to Batwoman, the DC drama project starring Ruby Rose, according to Deadline. The pilot is set to be directed by David Nutter (Game of Thrones, Arrow, The Flash).

Stephen Amell, who plays Arrow on the CW television series, took to Twitter to share an image of Superman's new suit in the upcoming Arrow-verse crossover event on The CW. CW has revealed the backdrop for this year's crossover event. The three-night event kicks off Sunday, December 9 on the network. SUPERGIRL, ARROW, and THE FLASH are featured in this crossover, 'Elseworlds.'

Jeremy Davies will play the central villain in The CW's  DC Arrow-verse crossover, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Ruby Rose is set to play Batwoman, the lesbian superhero for the CW, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Rose's Batwoman will first appear in the December DC crossover event, with Greg Berlanti planning a stand-alone series revolving around the character.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the CW is teaming with DC's small-screen universe mastermind Greg Berlanti to develop Batwoman as a TV series. The character of Batwoman will officially be introduced in December as part of The CW's annual DC series crossover event.
