Iconic Tenor Andrea Bocelli and his daughter, rising star, Virginia Bocelli have released the duet “Dare To Be” (From The Motion Picture Cabrini), an original song written for the end credits of the upcoming Angel Studios film Cabrini. The film also features Virginia Bocelli’s remarkable acting debut.

Signature Theatre today will present an all-star benefit reading of Sam Shepard’s contemporary classic True West, led by acclaimed actors Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear, Girls) as Austin, David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow) as Lee, Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s Tale, Compliance) as Mom, and Denis O’Hare (American Horror Story, True Blood) as Saul.

Joining the previously announced David Harbour and Bill Pullman are Hanako Footman, Akiya Henry, Sinead Matthews, Charlie Oscar and Stephen Wight. Directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, the production opens on 26 June at the Ambassadors Theatre, with previews from 15 June, and runs until 4 September.

James Bond Producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli today released the official title of the 25th James Bond adventure, No Time To Die. The film, from Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM), and Universal Pictures International is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation, True Detective) and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his fifth film as Ian Fleming's James Bond 007. Written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade (Spectre, Skyfall), Cary Joji Fukunaga, Scott Z. Burns (Contagion, The Bourne Ultimatum) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve, Fleabag) No Time To Die is currently in production. The film will be released globally from April 3, 2020 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S on April 8, from MGM via their United Artists Releasing banner.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today published the rules and timeline for the EE British Academy Film Awards 2020, following its annual review of all categories. BAFTA's Film Committee undertakes this review each year in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders across the industry.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.

SHOWTIME has announced that Rory Kinnear (PENNY DREADFUL) has joined PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS, the next chapter of the PENNY DREADFUL saga, in the series regular role of Dr. Peter Craft. Craft is a successful German pediatrician and the head of the German-American Bund, an organization he hopes will keep the United States isolated from the growing threat of war in Europe. The series also stars Natalie Dormer, Daniel Zovatto, Adriana Barraza, Jessica Garza, Johnathan Nieves and Tony® and Emmy®winner Nathan Lane. Tony and Golden Globe® award winner and three-time Oscar® nominee John Logan, the creator, writer and executive producer of the Emmy nominated series PENNY DREADFUL, continues in those same roles. It's been announced today that Miranda favourite Sarah Hadland will join the cast of Admissions. Hadland will star opposite Alex Kingston (ER, Doctor Who) in the award-winning comedy, which opens at London's Trafalgar Studios on 28 February (Press Night 12 March).

The New York Times has reported that the new James Bond film will be directed by Danny Boyle. Boyle won the best director Oscar in 2009 for Slumdog Millionaire. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as the title character.

According to Variety, Oscar-nominated Italian actor Giancarlo Giannini (“Swept Away”) has joined the cast of George Clooney's “Catch-22” TV series, which is set to start shooting in Sardinia this week.
