Pufnstuf 2006

About the Album: The soundtrack to the film version of Sid & Marty Kroffts gigantic children's TV hit HR Pufnstuf, the program that introduced psychedelia into the diet of English and American children in the late 60's early 70's. The soundtrack, written by Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel (Barbarella, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley) is a remarkable amalgam of bubblegum, psychedelic instrumentation and joyful knockabout songs including 'Zap The World', and the fine solo number 'Different' which is exclusive to this record. Punfstuf is full of great, clever, funny songs sung by Jack Wild, Cass Elliot, Witchiepoo and the cast. El. 2006.

Mamet’s full-length comedy penned to appeal to young audiences premiered in 1978 at the Town Hall Performing Arts Center in Flushing, Queens a borough of New York City. The plot is messy, convoluted, and at some times almost mind-warping. The story follows the adventures of Binky Rudich, his friend Vivian Mooster and an almost human-like sheep Bob as they struggle to get the two-speed clock to work. Soon, Binky’s mother known as Mrs. Rudich calls for Binky to come down for lunch, Binky decides to hit the clock with a hammer one last time hoping to make it work. Suddenly the kids have blasted nearly 50 lightyears away from anything they’ve known to the planet of Crestview.

by Rich Mehrenberg - November 15, 2019

Fulton's Peter Pan brings some refreshing and welcomed updates to a joyous American classic. First and foremost, one of the most interesting and beneficial changes to this production is the casting of the title role. Peter has traditionally, and almost exclusively, been played by an actress. Mary Martin, Sandy Duncan and Cathy Rigby have all had their turn as the boy who won't grow up.
