Barrington Stage Company has announced full casting for the world premiere of Mark St. Germain's new play The Happiest Man on Earth (May 24-June 17) and a new production of the legendary Kander & Ebb musical Cabaret (June 14-July 8).

“The Woman from Hamburg” producer Elle Kurata and director Michael Masarof are pleased to cast Broadway’s Pearl Scarlett Gold as Young Helusia. The film will also feature, lauded actress Jenette Goldstein (Titanic, Aliens, and Lethal Weapon 2) and Einat Holland an Israeli actress known for her work in the Israeli television show, Dismissed.

Jackson, through his production company G-Unit Film & Television, will develop scripted dramas, live-action comedies and animated series that would air on FOX.  Series created under the deal will be owned by FOX Entertainment and produced by its in-house unit, FOX Entertainment Studios, in collaboration with G-Unit Film & Television.

The Conspirators present The Conspirators’ 125th Anniversary Jubilee, Feat. “The Ineptidemic,” written by Sid Feldman, Octave Mirbeau, and friends and directed by Artistic Director Wm. Bullion, at Otherworld Theatre.

Theatre 68 is presenting the World Premiere of Diving Horses, an original full-length play written by Vinnie Nardiello. Produced by Artistic Director Ronnie Marmo, directed by Kerri Murphy and co-directed by Mark Riccadonna, October 27-29 at John Desotelle Studio Nubox Theatre.

The Castle Craig Players have done it, with a first-rate cast, in Meriden, CT! On Saturday, July 30th, I had the pleasure of seeing a show that I had been looking forward to ever since it was first announced. As someone who has been a fan of the board game Clue since 1985, Clue the movie since 1986, and even Clue the VCR game, several years later, I was very excited to see CLUE, the play, as performed by the Castle Craig Players at the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse in Meriden, CT. The play is by Sandy Rustin, Hunter Foster, and Eric Price, based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. Under the wonderful direction of Ian Galligan, the Castle Craig Players have successfully put on yet another phenomenal production that combines comedy with murder mystery!

Penwheel Universe helmed by writer/director John F. Uranday (Lost Souls) and producer Bobby Cloud (Lost Souls) brought their new film Depth of Field to the Cannes’ Marché du Film on May 18th to screen at Cannes Palais (F) at 1:45 p.m.

Director Amon Miyamoto leads his cast and creative team in staging a production that is familiar, completely original, and theatrically exciting. The choreography and set design work in tandem to create motion on a stage that’s never been seen before. Tony Award-winner Ali Stroker released her new picture book, Ali and the Sea Stars on May 17th! The book is semi-autobiographical and features a spirited girl in a wheelchair who stages a show for her hometown based on the pivotal summer Ali performed in her first musical by the Jersey Shore.
