 The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts has added to its 2024/2025 Season lineup with contemporary programming.

The award-winning percussion, rhythm and comedy sensation, STOMP will end its (almost) 29-year run on January 8, 2023. STOMP's North American and European tours will continue to run.

The hour-long special features interviews from inspiring celebrities and influential Latinos putting the spotlight on filmmakers and content creators for a global audience, in both English and Spanish. HABLA LOUD features Bianca Marroquín, Nicolas Entel, Leila Cobo, Carla Morrison, Wilson Cruz, Isabella Gomez, Natalie Diaz, Ritchie Torres and more.

He has also shared the stage with the likes of Cultura Profética, Residente & Calle 13, Tony Touch, Gaby Moreno, Tego Calderón, Álvaro Díaz, Anita Tijoux, Crazy Legs and the Rock Steady Crew, of which he is a member, to name just a few.

The show, which was co-created by Luke Cresswell, was one of the first Off-Broadway shows to return after the pandemic.

STOMP will open tomorrow Tuesday, July 20 at 126 Second Avenue at 8th Street in the East Village. The next morning, Wednesday, July 21, the cast will be performing live on “Good Morning America” in Times Square; it is scheduled for the 8:30AM half hour.

STOMP, which has been astonishing audiences at the Orpheum Theatre for the past 26 years, will resume performances on Tuesday, July 20 at 126 Second Avenue at 8th Street in the East Village. Tickets will go on sale on June 21.

The Mexican brother-sister duo Sotomayor are back with their second single from upcoming album 'Orígenes' (February 14, 2020). 'Menéate pa' mí' sees the group heat things up a notch from their last single ('Quema') with Paulina Sotomayor's vocals somewhere in between rapping and singing over brother Raul's uptempo beat of horn samples and a driving kick drum. Based in Los Angeles, Flores will report to Hans Schafer, SVP of Live Nation Latin. Flores joins Live Nation with 15 years of experience in Latin music, including many years on the live sector of the industry at Goldenvoice and AEG Concerts.

iLe (Ileana Cabra Joglar) is a Puerto Rican singer, composer and vocalist who spent a decade touring Latin America with her brothers in the popular band Calle 13. Now, as successful solo artist she comes to Los Angeles performing music from her recent album that combines alt-rock with traditional boleros. Gaby Moreno, who sings the theme song for the series opening intro of Disney's first Latina princess Elena of Avalor, moved to the US from Guatemala after high school and now calls Los Angeles her home. Her guitar and bluesy vocals move easily between pop, soul, and classic Latin sounds. Both boast a Latin Grammy win and will serve up their unique blend of cultures onstage as part of the Music Knows No Borders series at VPAC (The Soraya) on Saturday, November 18 at 8pm.
